Call for applications for advocacy activities on any of the articles of IPPF’s Declaration of Sexual Rights.

Sexuality is an important part of being human, whether or not a person chooses to be sexually active.

Being able to express this freely is central to well-being, happiness and health as well as a fundamental component of gender equity and equality, poverty reduction and development.

To express our sexuality freely, we must first be empowered to exercise choice in our sexual and reproductive lives; and feel confident and safe in expressing our own sexual identity.

Sexual Rights are natural and valuable aspects of all our lives and derive from human rights and as such, encompass a wide range of issues related to sexual health, including sexuality, sexual orientation and sexual identity.

They are an evolving set of entitlements related to sexuality that contribute to the freedom, equality and dignity of all people.

The Advocacy Flexi Fund (AFF) provides small grants to support civil society organizations.

Applications can be submitted in English, Spanish or French.

The deadline for applications is 30 June 2010.
